The EuroResidue Conferences are intended to include all aspects of the control of residues of veterinary drugs. Special emphasis is placed upon recent developments related to the detection and determination of residues in food, feed and other relevant matrices, pharmaceutical and toxicological studies and veterinary drug registration and regulation.
Previous EuroResidue Conferences were held in 1990, 1993, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016. The last “Ghent” meeting (the 8th International Symposium on Hormone and Veterinary Drug Residue Analysis, which is complementary to the EuroResidue series) took place in 2018.
Preliminary scientific outline
In addition to the general topics related to the scope of the conference, EuroResidue IX will feature a number of specific topics. Contributions for oral or poster presentation are called for on:

* Advances in sample preparation
* Confirmation technologies
* Omics
* The environment and residues
* Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Risk analysis
* Analytical criteria and validation

Special Symposium Issue of Food Control for Euroresidue IX
All presenters of keynote lectures, oral presentation and poster presentations are invited to submit a paper for the Food Control journal. The journal has an impact factor of 5.5.
Submission is open from 23 May 2022 and the deadline for submission is 1st of September 2022. See instruction in the attached file.
Awards granted at Euroresidue IX
During the Euroresidue IX conference in May 2022 two awards were granted: the Young Talent award and a Special Recognition award.
Conference circular@wur postponed
Considering the new Covid situation, we decided to cancel the Circular@WUR conference on December 6-8th and postponed it to 2022. The new dates for the conference will be April 11-13th 2022.
All facets of the circular economy will be discussed, also food safety aspects.
